Inspiration and Motivation

Have you smiled today? Put on a smile right now. Really, start smiling. Let the smile grow to a great big happy smile. Let it wash away any stress and tension. How do you feel now? I guess much better.

A very simple thing but a Smile has a big power.

Here is a list of the top 5 reasons to smile:

  1. Smiling makes us attractive likable.

All famous people have memorable smile, Queen Elizabeth, Mother Theresa, Barack Obama… We like them because of their genuine smile.

  1. Smiling Relieves Stress and helps us to stay positive

Try this test: Smile. And think of something negative without losing the smile. It’s hard. When we smile our body is sending a message that “Life is Good”.

  1. Smiling Boosts our Immune System

Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins and serotonin the chemical of happiness. You could prevent the flu and colds by smiling.

  1. Smiling Makes us Look Younger

It takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile. The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. Don’t go for a face lift, just try smiling all day — you’ll look younger and feel better.

  1. Smiling Makes us Successful

Smiling people appear more confident, and are more likely to be promoted. Put on a smile at meetings and appointments and people will react to you differently.

A smile is the greatest asset we have.

It has a big power.

Smile. Smile often. Smile at your kids, your parents, and your dog…. When you are buying something, smile at the clerk.

Smile at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you’re going to have a great day.

Smile when you are talking to someone on the phone–they’ll sense it.

When something irritating happens, instead of swearing, smile and laugh it off.

I believe if you do this you will have better days than you can even imagine.

And your life will change,  from within and also from the opportunities you will attract.

So keep smiling!

And the world will smile back at you.
